Q: What is happening at this event?

A: The Pottery Fair is the largest ceramics event in NYC. There will be over 100 artists and studios showing and selling their ceramic wares. There will also be clay demonstrations throughout the day. Lastly, there will be an area for folks to get their hands dirty and full of clay as they try out foundational clay techniques.. 


Q: What is the cost to attend the event?

A: Nothing! The event is free to attend. 


Q: What time is The Pottery Fair happening?

A: The event is open from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday, May 30th. In case of severe weather the rain date is Sunday May 31st. 


Q: Can I drive to the event?

A: Yes. Please note you cannot park on 5th ave between Union St. & 4th St. during the day. Open streets are starting at 2 pm on Saturday and 5th Ave will be blocked off to traffic and parking between Union St. & 4th St.  


Q: Where should I go if I’m taking public transit to the event?

A: The closest subway stations are Union St. (D, N, R, W) & 4th Ave/9th St (D, F, G, N, R, W)


Q: Are there public restrooms available?

A: Yes, the Old Stone House has public restrooms.
